2005: Year of Diligence
2004 was a year in which the fullness: completeness in principle, of revelation of walking in the love of God by the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus was released into the body of Christ. Of course this does not mean that all of the revelation on the love of God has been released; however it does mean that the complete (in principle, not in detail!) revelation of the love of God has been released and further details of these principles will continue to be released.
The purpose of this revelation on the love of God is to cause the church to speak the truth in love so as to grow up into Christ in all things (Eph. 4.15).
So 2005 is a year in which we are to be diligent in applying all the revelation received in 2004.
2 Peter 1:1-10 NKJV: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;
According to these scriptures if we give all diligence to walking in the divine love which is the end (or the goal or the purpose) of the commandment we will make our calling and election sure.
1 Timothy 1:5 KJV: 5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
Once you secure divine love in your heart and conduct by giving all diligence to maintaining a right attitude and to the Word and prayer, the seed of God’s Word in your life and your physical seed and offspring will be safe from contamination. This is because when you develop the love of God and keep your self in it diligently the wicked one cannot touch you.
Isaiah 59:21 NKJV: “As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the LORD, “from this time and forevermore.”
1 John 5:18-19 NKJV: We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.
So to hasten the coming of the Lord in us in the manifestation of the fullness of the glory (Jn.2.11) that was in Christ: doing the works that He did and greater (Jn.14.12) in this year 2005 we need to diligently walk in all that was reveled in 2004.
2 Peter 3:12,14 NKJV: looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, 14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless;
So we wish you all a diligent, Christ filled 2005 by the grace of God (1 Cor. 15.10) in which you will begin to experience the fullness of God’s blessings and your personal destiny!
