2016_YEAR OF JUBILEE, GLORY AND NEW BEGININGS
(week 01/16)
OLUBI AND SARAH JOHNSON

Once again, we wish all our readers a victorious, healthy, wealthy, God-pleasing and destiny fulfilling New Year in Jesus Name!

The years 2014-2015 were the years of the blood moon tetrad that synchronized with the Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles. Furthermore, 2015 was a 7th Shemitah year of release (Dt.15.1), so from the day of Trumpets (Lev.23.24) of 2015 (Sept.14 2015), we entered into a Jubilee year.

So we are NOW in a Jubilee year; In the Old Testament, the year of Jubilee was when the inheritance of all Israelites was released or returned back to them:

Leviticus 25:8-10 NKJV:  ‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. (9) Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. (10) And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.

Now, in the New Testament today our inheritance is the manifestation of the Spirit without measure.

The Lord Jesus declared this when He announced the Jubilee or acceptable year of the Lord in

Luke 4:16 NIV:  He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, (17) and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: (18) “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, (19) to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (20) Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. (21) He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Observe that at that time, the Lord Jesus had inherited and began to manifest the Spirit without measure: so He declared to them that that scripture was being fulfilled in their hearing in that time.

Observe also that the Lord Jesus did not go on to mention the day of the vengeance of our God and the reward to those that mourn in Zion.

Why?

The day of the vengeance of our God and the reward of those mourning in Zion had not yet come!

We are in that day (that time in history now: the 3rd day and the jubilee year AFTER the 7th shemitah year (Deut.15.1 and Lev.25.8-10) of the synchronization of the feast of Tabernacles with a blood moon tetrad) NOW!

So, just as the Lord Jesus had inherited the Spirit without measure in the acceptable year or year of favour of His time, we are NOW to inherit the Spirit without measure and manifest the glory of God in this year of Jubilee and God’s favour fulfilling

Psalms 102:13-16 KJV:  Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come. (14) For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof. (15) So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. (16) When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

The manifestation of the glory of God by the power of the Spirit without measure in this year of Jubilee will mark a new beginning for the church: hence 2016 is proclaimed to be a year of Jubilee, Glory and New beginnings!

In our article next week, we will see more WHY AND HOW we are to manifest this Jubilee and Glory!
