LEADERSHIP, PERFECTION AND UNITY 2
In our article last week, we saw that the manifestation of glory comes as the perfection of the unity is consistently maintained and increased to a ‘breakthrough’ (Mic. 2:13) level by the covering of a leadership in cleansing perfection and maturity.
Now, as this manifestation of the glory of God (like a spiritual supernova Rom. 1:20) will cause a great release of the light of life into the minds, wills and emotions of each member under the covering of the perfect leadership.
This will cause members under this leadership to have one mind: the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:13). Practically, this means that they will have the same mind and attitude that God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit have because this manifestation of the glory will cause the spiritually ‘blind’ to see; the ‘deaf’ to hear; the ‘lame’ to walk; the ‘dumb’ to speak as typified in
Isaiah 35:4-6 MKJV: Say to those of a hasty heart, Be strong, fear not; behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the full dealing of God. He will come and save you. (5) Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. (6) Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing; for in the wilderness waters shall break out, and streams in the desert.
The ‘wilderness’ in this scripture typifies the soul: mind, will and emotions that have not yet developed the fruit of the Spirit. Just like after Israel had been saved and had to pass through the wilderness to get to the Promised Land; after we get born-again, our souls pass through the experience of a spiritual wilderness of a lack of the fruit of the Spirit and revelation knowledge into the Promised Land of the perfection and fullness of Christ in our souls.
Now, having one mind and speaking the same thing does not necessarily using the same words, but having same thought and attitude. For instance, Isaiah and Paul are saying the same thing using different words in
Isaiah 26:3 MKJV: You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You; because he trusts in You.
Romans 8:6 MKJV: For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace
God is a Spirit (Jn. 4:24), so to be spiritually minded is to keep your mind on God and this will cause you to have life and peace.
Now, as the rest of the body of Christ see the small or little (300-600 using Gideon’s (Judg. 7:7) and David’s (1 Sam. 27:2) armies as types) flocks (Lk. 12:32) or groups ‘breakthrough’ (Mic. 2:13) into the manifestation of the glory of God, becoming messengers of glory, many will be attracted by that glory to come under the covering of the new perfect Davidic leadership, leaving the old Saul leadership as typified in
1Chronicles 12:22 MKJV: For at that time they came to David day by day to help him, until it was a great army, like an army of God.
2Samuel 3:1 MKJV: And there was a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. But David became stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul became weaker and weaker.
Ezekiel 34:23-24 MKJV: And I will set up one Shepherd over them, and He shall feed them, My servant David. He shall feed them, and He shall be their Shepherd. (24) And I Jehovah will be their God, and My servant David a ruler among them. I Jehovah have spoken.
As this continues to happen, the church will experience amongst greater and greater numbers of Christians both the unity of the Spirit and the unity of the knowledge of the perfection and fullness of Christ fulfilling
John 17:22-23 MKJV: And I have given them the glory which You have given Me, that they may be one, even as We are one, (23) I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me.
